Alex Ritchie's artwork the Kaleidoscope Cube was chosen to be included in the 2012 Sculptures by the Sea exhibition and showcased in the middle of Tamarama beach. The artwork features 16 mirror clad 4 metre tall columns mounted to a concealed base plate below the sand.

Thanks to its lightweight reflective material, the artwork blends into its surroundings, while giving what looks like almost endless reflected views of the surrounding beach and sky.
